Last October, legendary street trials rider Danny MacAskill visited Northwest Arkansas while we hosted one of the biggest mountain bike events in the country — the IMBA World Summit. Danny, one of the world’s most popular cyclists, is touring the country promoting his book and biking any object put in front of him. While here in Northwest Arkansas, he teamed up with MTB pioneer Hans Rey and pro rider Ryan Leech to wow the crowds at the Railyard in Rogers. This bike park features a full-scale rail car set on real railroad tracks, wall rides, whale tales, and concrete lips.

The coolest thing about Danny, aside from his incredible talent on the bike, is his humble personality and willingness to hang out. He shook hands and posed for pictures for hours with his local fans. He was unassuming, which is a rare find in a person with so much celebrity.

While Danny was here, we organized the (very) unique opportunity to ride the grounds at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The museum, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, celebrates the American spirit by uniting the power of art with the beauty of nature.

Check out some of these behind the scenes images.

We really enjoyed having Danny and Hans in Northwest Arkansas!

Stunts shown are conducted by professional riders, prearranged through the Museum. Please do not attempt.
